Customers Opt In
Having set up keyword(s) and the desired responses the campaign is all set to start.
People will need to know what is on offer, the keyword and the number to text to. Here are some examples:
A bar may wish to regularly promote new featured beers on tap.
"Text brew to 43704 to receive alerts for our featured beers"
In this case, as the list will be used regularly a double opt in is required. The first response could read:
"Reply Y to confirm you wish to receive featured beer alerts. Std rates apply.
Having replied 'Y' the confirmation text may read:
"Thank you for opting in to receive featured beer alerts from (bar name). Send STOP to opt out"
A realtor may wish to send information about a home, for instance the wording example below could be added to signage. As this is a one time message double opt in is not required.
"Text homeA to 43704 for details and contact information"
The reply may read:
"1½ Baths, 4 Beds, Large Kitchen, Family room, Dining Room, Sitting Room, Finished Basement. 2500 sq ft. 1 acre plot. $550,000. Contact Prompt Realtors on 555 123 6789 to arrange viewing"
A nightclub may wish to offer half price drinks.
"Text club to 43704 to receive a drinks voucher"
The reply may be:
"Show this message to receive one free drink"
The cell number that sends your keyword is automatically added to your list.
If you already have an opted in list it can be added to your promptxt4clubs list by copying and pasting or upload from a csv file.
